Control Key has worked with Everton Football Club
to provide secure Internet access for the Club using the WatchGuard High Availability solution consisting of two WatchGuard Fireboxes. Control Key also provides ongoing support for these WatchGuard Fireboxes.

Internet access for Everton's new 'Extra Time' Study Centre also uses this connection via a separate routed connection over the stadium LAN. Secure access to the Internet is provided via a Proxy server located in the Study Centre.

The network links from the Study Centre go through the new gigabit Ethernet network solution, designed and installed by Control Key, using Cisco Catalyst switches with Gigabit technology for the network backbone. The core switch infrastructure and firewall solution is all fault-tolerant; in the event of failure, Internet access is still maintained.
